Rapper PnB Rock fatally shot during a robbery
As per sources, On Monday afternoon, Rapper PnB Rock, whose legal name is Rakim Hasheem Allen, the Philadelphia rapper best known for his 2016 hit “Selfish”, was fatally shot during a robbery when he was with his girlfriend at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles restaurant in South Los Angeles. He was just 30 years old. As per reports, he shared his location ahead of the robbery which was deleted later on.
Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz said they received a call at 1:23 p.m. ET about a shooting and found a male victim with gunshot injuries at the famous eatery on Main Street and Manchester Avenue. He was transported to an area hospital. He and his girlfriend were eating when one suspect pulled a firearm demanding belongings. As per Sources Rock was asked for his jewelry. The suspect shot the victim multiple times, removed belongings, and left in a getaway car, according to police.
Muniz said that multiple shots were fired and that others on the scene were not injured and said the victim was taken to a hospital and later found dead.
Los Angeles detectives are aware of a social media post where his location was tagged and police said they are examining surveillance video to identify potential suspects.
When asked about reports of social media, Muniz said, “We always are gonna look into the social media,” but added that police couldn’t “verify” that yet.
Fans recalled other robberies where celebrities were targeted after sharing their locations, including in 2016 Kim Kardashian who was in Paris and got robbed, and in Feb. 2020, Pop Smoke, the rapper shared his location and was also killed in an attempted robbery. It is not clear in the current case whether the suspect or suspects know about the victim’s location.

Rakim Hasheem Allen (December 9, 1991 – September 12, 2022), known by the stage name PnB Rock, was an American rapper and singer from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2016, he gained popularity for his single “Selfish” which hit number 51 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
He gained popularity on SoundCloud and released a number of hits that charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
He also provided uncredited lyrics on XXXTentacion’s hit single “Changes”, which reached the top 20 on the same chart. Later Catch These Vibes (2017) and TrapStar Turnt PopStar (2019) was released. In 2017 XXL Freshman Class was selected as part.
One of his biggest moments came when “Everyday We Lit.” hit No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100.
On Sept. 2 Rock released his latest song, “Luv Me Again,”. “Selfish” and “Cross Me” are other songs.

Rock said in one of the episodes of “Off the Record with DJ Akademiks.”, one day he was out when he was tried to be robbed.
“I never got robbed, ever in my life,” Rock said. “I ain’t going to never say because I don’t like saying never. I’m not superstitious, but I haven’t been robbed.”
“That’s why I feel like L.A.’s spooky, man,” Akademiks said. “It’s just so bold. I’m seeing mad videos like they don’t even do it at night. Like night maybe, but broad daylight, that’s when they really do it.”
Rock shared he is now more aware of the circumstances that after his oldest brother was killed. That situation can go dangerous.
“It’s just been something in me that just let me know, like this s— real life,” Rock said. “I have done seen people die. I have been around people that died…. Anybody can die.”
